The FBI get serious about the Weldon family and I sit back and smile. (Is it too soon to light up a Cuban cigar?) It would be just too good if we could get rid of this sleazeball this year.
Weldon suggested that the searches and the investigation were politically motivated saying: "what I find ironic, if there is an investigation, is that no one would tell me until three weeks before the election". At least Congressman Weldon's daughter had the benefit of access to an attorney and the FBI had to get a warrant.
His opponent, Joe Sestak, had no comment with an adviser simply saying "Right now, it is between Weldon and the FBI". That says it all doesn't it?
Let's hope that Steve is right. You've got to remember much of his district is so staunchly Republican that much of the electorate would vote for satan if he was riding the elephant!
