What's in a name?

It seems that some right wing Christians have decided that the bill introduced by Congressman John Conyers (D - MI) entitled the "Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act" is actually misnamed and should be re-titled the "Anti-Christian Hate Crimes Bill". This resistance is undoubtedly caused by the fact that the bill, under its present name, is endorsed by such noted left wing organisations as the American Jewish Congress, the American Veterans Committee, Business and Professional Women (USA), the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association, Goodwill Industries International (Inc), the National Association of the Deaf, the Spina Bifida Association of America and the YMCA. Hell, even some Republicans support it.
