Rush to judgement

I confess that I am not at all fond of the obese, draft dodging, junkie pundit Rush Limbaugh. However I would generally defend his right to free speech and I still believe he has the right to say what he wants, to whomever he wishes. However as far as I am concerned this recent "phony soldiers" remarks directed as those service men and women who have had the temerity to disagree with this great and deep thinker is the equivalent of the (apparently apocryphal) incidents in which protesters spit on returning Vietnam vets in the 60s and/or 70s. He has the right to say it and his employers have the right to sack him for it. I urge his employers to do so but I shall not hold my breath waiting for them to act.

In the meantime here is the latest Vote Vets ad directed at Mr. Limbaugh.
