It seems as though Republican presidential hopeful John McCain believes it to be possible.
Seriously I don't understand how this incident hasn't generated more outrage. Would anyone, from any place on the political spectrum, believe it acceptable to acknowledge and respond to a "how do we stop the nigger?" question about Barack Obama? How about a "how do we stop the kike?" question about Joe Lieberman in 2000 or even a "how do we stop the papist?" question about Rudy today?
It is unacceptable that he should be allowed to get away with accepting this slur against women, which he clearly did by responding to the question irrespective of his disingenuous "I respect Senator Clinton" remark beforehand.
