Stacking the deck

Today's Observer reports that the US government is putting strong pressure on private contractors who are interrogating prisoners in Iraq* to find links with Iran. According to one unnamed intelligence source:

"The message is, 'Got to find a link with Iran, got to find a link with Iran.' It's sickening."

Bush still has 435 days left to start the war he and "I'm a Big" Dick Cheney really, really want.

*Why have we subcontracted interrogation?
