Finally someone in a official capacity has referred to Israel's treatment of the Gaza strip, with its blockade and fuel restrictions, as what it truly is: illegal collective punishment. (I know he didn't use the word "illegal" but this is a UN guy. For one of them these are harsh words indeed.)
Perhaps the US might wish to introduce to a resolution into the Security Council ordering them to cease and desist!
