Despite the fact that these recommendations are coming under fire from all directions are there any American readers who believe that the Republicans are likely to start calling for 80% cuts in global emissions by 2050, a moratorium on airport expansion and new taxes on aviation, a 10% purchase tax on cars dependent on emissions, a tax on employer provided parking spaces or the elimination of taxpayer subsidies for generation of power through nuclear fission?
