I am going down the pub - I may be some time.

According to some incredibly intelligent researchers at the University of Wisconsin (did I mention that these were smart people?) a pint of Guinness a day may be just as good at preventing blood clots that cause heart attacks as an aspirin. By my reckoning given my age and the number of days on which I probably have not had a pint of Guinness I think I am about 9000 pints or so behind. It looks as if I will have a rather busy weekend. Good thing there's plenty of football and rugby on the telly, eh?
