Historically it has been left wing parties and organisations that have destroyed themselves through infighting. Well it looks as if, out in Colorado, the right wingers are having a go. Congressman Doug Lamborn (R - CO) is Christian, dog fight supporter but is perhaps not-right-wing-enough for Jonathan and Anna Bartha, members of Focus on the Family, who he has apparently threatened over the phone after they wrote a letter to the editor that criticised the fact that he took money from the gambling industry. He left the message/threat on a tape. Rather unwise I should think.
