American politicians, Republican and Democrat alike, are running out of patience with the government in Baghdad so before they give up on that "freedom thing" and go back to the old ways by arranging a coup Iraqi President Nouri al-Maliki thought he might give a 120 million USD olive branch to Sunni dominated Anbar province. It might buy him a stay of execution but I don't see a reprieve in the long term. After all we only support democracy when it is the right kind of democracy if you know what I mean.
