Israel's Deputy Prime Minister Haim Ramon has promised to halt electricity, water and fuel for Gaza in "retaliation" for missile strikes against Israeli territories.
This is known as collective punishment and is illegal under international law. I am sure that increasingly irrelevant US Secretary of State Conocoleezza Rice is on the phone even as we speak telling the Israelis that all American aid and support will be cut off if they even consider such a step.
