US National Intelligence Director Mike McConnell told Congress on Monday that the new anti-terror law, you know the one where warrants and Constitutions and things aren't required, helped in foiling terror attacks on US interests in Germany. What Mr. McConnell actually meant to say was that the new anti-terror law did not help in foiling terror attacks on US interests in Germany.
He is ever so sorry for any confusion caused and would take back Tuesday's headlines if he could!
