England's star midfielder Steven Gerrard is quoted as saying that his "performances have improved" under at risk England manager Steve "I've Never Really Managed a Winning Side and It Doesn't Look Like I'm Going to Start Now" McClaren. I hope he's right as England really have to win tomorrow night against Russia to have any chance of qualifying for Euro 08. I first moved here in 1993 and 1994, when England weren't playing in the World Cup Finals in the US, was not a happy summer. I'd rather not have to go through it again.
