From the Guardian's website comes a recommendation for anyone in New York to visit an exhibition at the National Museum of the American Indian and be reminded that the United States, and to a lesser extent Canada, are nations founded on genocide. I don't remember this being mentioned in my elementary school history books. Do they do any better today?
