A victory for states' rights...

...that probably won't be applauded by most states' righters. A Federal judge has ruled that states can set tighter emissions standards on automobiles than the federal government does. Of course, the auto companies will continue suing and appealing until they either get their way or the planet dies, whichever comes first.
