When Justice sleeps...

...it doesn't seem to matter in Australia. To quote the opinion of the court that rejected the appeal of two men who were convicted of drug smuggling in a trial during which the judge kept falling asleep:

"[T]he mere fact that the judge was asleep for periods of the trial does not demonstrate that the trial had been unfair or that there had been a miscarriage of justice."

They might have a point it could have been worse if he was awake.
