Perhaps the "free" medical treatment at us RUN Guantánamo Bay Beach and Leisure Resort isn't as good as you thought. 260 medical doctors from 16 countries have published a letter in the British medical journal; The Lancet which excoriates the American regime for "unethical practices" at the holiday camp and condemned the American medical establishment for ignoring the practices whilst they spend their time ensuring that nothing resembling socialised medicine is ever allowed in the country.
The letter accuses military doctors of being involved in the force feeding of prisoners and consciously ignoring evidence of torture and other maltreatment of the holidaymakers in residence there. Previously the Royal College of Physicians has alleged that what the military doctors are doing would be "criminal acts" in Britain.
I'm going to miss that special relationship.
