Why are small town politicians so bloody stupid? Are they just preparing themselves to move up in the world of politics where they can behave with even greater stupidity? Probably.
Take Tonganoxie KN Mayor Mike Vestal as an example. He sent an email out to some "friends" the other day that said

"Next Monday is National Female Breast Appreciation Day...Beats the **** out of Martin Luther King Day! Doesn’t It?"
The email was accompanied by a picture of a topless young woman and her undoubtedly much appreciated breasts. Unfortunately for Mayor Vestal one of his "mates" was a local TV reporter. The news got out and Mayor Vestal has offered to resign. I can only say to the good people of Tonganoxie that your mayor has made you an offer you should not refuse.
