His new ad in Iowa promises to remove health insurance from elected and appointed Federal officials if the Congress doesn't pass some sort of universal health care provision. The wing nuts are all upset because they say this is "unconstitutional" and that the President doesn't have the power, if only because "I'm a Big" Dick Cheney hasn't got around to insisting that he has but Edwards's campaign insists that this would take the form of a bill sent to Congress and I don't see how a single Congressperson or Senator could have the cojones to vote against it in a country with nearly 50 million people without health care.
