Lie back and think of Riyadh

It happens to all of us. You're out with your friends and one of them does something that is just so embarrassing that you could scream. So we can sympathise with the governments of the United States and the United Kingdom after authorities in their good friend the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia sentenced a young woman to 200 lashes and 6 months in prison after she was gang raped and complained about the lenient sentence her attackers were given. Ostensibly the punishment meted out to the woman was because she was riding in the car of a male Saudi who was not a relative at the time of the rape.

The Saudis could probably do with a good PR agency.
