The omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent invisible hand of government subsidy strikes again

The National Center for Policy Analysis which is, in its own words, devoted to "private alternatives to government regulation and control [and] solving problems by relying on the strength of the competitive, entrepreneurial private sector" tells us that the US Congress is not doing enough to ensure that American petrol prices remain ridiculously low. For some reason they seem to think that opening up the Arctic National Wildlife Reserve to the sate the feeding frenzy of American oil companies will somehow magically make everything OK even though that will have little or no effect.
