It isn't exactly a Bushism but a White House threat to veto yet another spending bill, this time for transportation, included the following:

"This unwarranted spending puts a balanced budget in jeopardy and risks future tax increases." (Emphasis mine)

I almost choked to death on my muesli this morning when I read that!
