Voters in Mesa AZ have given the approval to the construction of an enormous water park in the desert!
WATER PARK! DESERT! See my point?
The developer, one Richard Mladick, says it is all about creating the environment he remembers from growing up in Virginia Beach! So why the fuck did he move to the desert if he loves the sea? I suppose that soon there will be project, pushed by a well meaning Virgina Beach resident who grew up in Arizona, to fill in the bloody Atlantic Ocean so he (or she) can recapture the magic of his (or her) childhood.
Hasn't anyone been paying attention to what has been happening with water on this bloody and unfortunate planet?
