Steve Wynn opened a new billion USD casino in Macau last month without putting his elbow through a Picasso. Now the former Portuguese colony, recently returned to China, is set to surpass Las Vegas in gambling revenue this year. This is good news for the residents of Macau (unless they are compulsive gamblers of course) as the government's tax bill on the casinos more than covers the entire municipal budget.
