The September assessment of progress* in Iraq that we have all been so eagerly awaiting is now scheduled for sometime close to Thanksgiving; and not that early Canadian Thanksgiving either!
* The definition of the word "progress" in the sense to be used in this assessment will be determined at a later date; quite possible some considerable time after the assessment has been completed.
