When he first came to power I had high hopes for Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez and still think that the leftward swing in Latin America is a significant barrier to American hegemony in the region but he is showing signs of megalomania and tinpot dictatorism (not a real word). It is worrisome for the people of Venezuela and Latin America as a whole.

A socialist concerned about Chavez.. that gives me hope. Maybe theres still some sanity in the world. I live under his command, and they are obviously some good reasons for worrying about.
I do try but this may be the first time someone has accused me of being sane!
