My good friends at the Heritage Foundation seem to think that the appointment of Sir Mark Malloch Brown as the Minister for Africa, Asia, and the United Nations in Gordon Brown's new government is a truly horrible thing as he is not deemed to be sufficiently subservient to American interests. I don't know. He seems just fine to me!
PS - the nuts over at the Corner aren't big fans either. At least that is how I interpret "one of the most revolting public appointments in modern British history".
