The Roman Catholic Archbishop of St. Louis MO, Raymond Burke, has said that he deny the sacraments to Republican Presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani because of his position on abortion. When asked if he would do the same to politicians that support illegal, pre-emptive wars or the death penalty, both of which are vigorously opposed by the Vatican, Burke replied that "it's a little more complicated in that case".
They forgot to ask him if he couldn't simply refuse communion to Rudy because he is a (twice) divorced Catholic who has remarried outside the church.
