The founder and chairman of the mercenary firm that provides many of the trigger happy hired guns in Iraq, Blackwater USA, paid a visit to Capitol Hill today to defend his brave, effective and appropriately acting employees, not to mention his own significant personal financial gain.
I have a suggestion to America's Democratic Senators and Congressmen who don't seem to have the balls to defund the war in Iraq. Perhaps you might manage to find the cojones to stipulate that no additional funds can be used for private security firms in Iraq or Afghanistan until it is certain that the companies, their officers and their employees are criminally and civilly accountable before both American and Iraqi law. Like the sound of that?
