Veteran left wing Labour member and former MP Tony Benn wants to run for parliament again despite having retired about six years ago; possibly just to make the life of his son Hillary, a New Labour devotée and cabinet minster, miserable. Mr. Benn's granddaughter will also be a parliamentary candidate, in the East Worthing constituency, at the next election.
