Supporting the troops

One might reasonably ask why elements of the Minnesota National Guard were deployed in Iraq for exactly 729 days, the longest such deployment of any other unit. But to infer that the military's reason for this unusual length of time was so that the Guard unit would come up one day short of the deployment required to qualify for full educational benefits is just treasonous; "treasonous" I say!
