Today is International Human Rights Day (void where prohibited by law and in the United States by Imperial Edict Presidential Order).
I am going to spend it fondly recalling the days when the United States was considered a beacon for human rights and freedom and not a criminal actor who flouts international law in order to kidnap, torture and detain those with whom it disagrees or it fears.
It makes me very sad indeed.
