Today's top quote comes to us from William Charles Jordan Jr. of Dover DE who was pardoned yesterday by Captain Codpiece for his part in a football gambling ring that was broken up ten years ago.
"It’s a nice Christmas present...I didn’t know what the odds were on getting one. I just sent the stuff in and hoped."
Mr. Jordan went on to say that he didn't want his grand kids finding out he was a felon. I might suggest to Mr. Jordan that the most effective way to prevent this happening would have been not to commit a felony. (Wait a second - am I endorsing "abstinence only"?)
