Scissors come to the Archbishop

The Church of England's Archbishop of York, John Sentamu, has rather dramatically cut up his clerical collar and vowed not to put it back on until Robert Mugabe is no longer in power in Zimbabwe. To quote Dr. Sentamu:

"You know what Mr Mugabe has done? He’s taken people’s identity, and literally, if you don’t mind, cut it to pieces, and in the end there’s nothing."

I am not certain what impact, if any, this will have but I unequivocally support Dr. Sentamu's position.
