When Captain Codpiece's brother Jeb was the Governor of Florida and he was not otherwise engaged ensuring he brother's less than legitimate "victory" in the 2000 presidential election he set up a money market fund in which municipalities in the state could invest. So far, so good. Unfortunately the fund is currently under significant financial pressure, has experienced a run on its funds and has had to freeze withdrawals.
This should probably be a cautionary tale for those eager young capitalists who want to privatise the nation's pensions but it probably will not be noticed.
