Don't Americans get out of their cars for anything anymore?

I know I have been gone awhile, (I passed the 15 year mark a couple of years ago and I haven't actually been in the states since just before Captain Codpiece's first inauguration), but I don't recall any drive through chemists shops. Perhaps if you got out and walked a bit every now and then less medication might be required.

Oh, yeah. It was a big selling point in Minnesota. Drive up, push the button, get your drugs, drive out. Drive to the store, drive to the library, drive to the gas station, drive down the block, drive, drive, drive, drive, drive....

God, I can't stand it. I want never to go back.
