US Defense Secretary Robert Gates has ruffled more than a few feathers amongst America's NATO allies but stating that the non-US forces in Afghanistan aren't up to the task of anti-insurgency. Curiously this is a criticism often levelled at American forces, especially by the British. I am certain that he will claim he was misquoted-out-of-context by evil America hating journos!
