Captain Codpiece is once again ready to veto an approaching mine safety bill apparently because the imposition of safety requirements for mines, timelines to achieve safety targets and fines for noncompliance would "place in jeopardy meaningful achievements and efforts currently under way" and "impose burdensome and unrealistic time requirements".
