Zimbabwe-watch

It is hard to guess what is likely to happen in Zimbabwe as we are nearly a week after the election that Robert Mugabe has clearly lost and no results for President have yet been released. There are signs of government intimidation as pro-Mugabe veterans marched in Harare and several foreign journalists have been arrested. Today's Guardian reported however that Mugabe might be willing to leave power peacefully if he is assured he will not be prosecuted. (What's with the guilty conscience Bob?)

I still hold out hope that things will end peacefully but the longer the status quo holds the less optimistic I am.
