America's great leap forward

In attempt to amplify his newly found green credentials the Decider (TM) will undoubtedly laud the fact that the United States will have three extra weeks of daylight savings time as the kind of (meaningless) sacrifice that his administration is willing to make in order to save the world. The amount of CO2 emissions saved by the extra hour of light in the evenings should equal about 5% of those created by the next meeting of the Bilderberg Group.
