There is both good news and bad news in a recent BBC worldwide poll which assessed people's attitudes towards the influence countries have.
The good news? Iran comes second to bottom and 54% thought that they are mainly a negative influence in the world. Only 18% thought that they are mainly a positive influence.
The bad news? Fervent US ally Israel comes bottom at 56% / 17% respectively. The US doesn't fare a great deal better and ranks below both China and India (and well below the European Union) but marginally ahead of North Korea.
