I think that US Attorney General and Bush succubus Alberto "Gone-zo" Gonzales believes he may have dodged a bullet our attention is diverted by other White House scandals. But I promise not to forget and to shamelessly harass the man, and his incompetent supervisor, until he joins the ranks of the unemployed.
Even Google seems to be looking the other way. A news search for "Gonzales" today yields a story about the Philippines (acting Defence Secretary Norberto Gonzales), a story about the East Texas Military Family and Friends Support Network (Anna Gonzales), more stories about the Philippines, a Times story about Wimbledon that seems to have gone missing (Poncho Gonzales), a story about mountain tunnel rescue in Colorado (volunteer fire fighter Capt. Annie Gonzales), a story about the Parish Line drainage pumping station in Louisiana (Jefferson Public Works Director Jose Gonzales), a story about the withdrawal of life support from a young patient in Texas (Emilio Gonzales) and the San Diego regional crime and fire watch (Bernard Gonzales, a Chula Vista police spokesman) before finally getting to the first mention of the Great Gone-zo himself.
Well Sr. Gonzales you may think that the world is no longer watching but I am still here. And I am not going away.
