White House spokeswoman Dana Perino is fond of asking the press to take a historical perspective. It is rather a shame then that she doesn't have one herself. Shouldn't she be sacked immediately for admitting, in public, that she has no idea what the Cuban Missile Crisis was about? And she's not too hot on Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer either.
