US teen pregnancies down, abstinence not to blame

The rate of teen pregnancy in the USA has declined by almost 25% from 1995 through 2002 and guess what. The reason it has declined is largely because of increased use of contraceptives with only a small portion attributable to abstinence. So I expect we will see an increase as the government focuses on abstinence to the detriment of other methods.
