Freedom from information

Under the Bush administration more than one million pages of historical government documents, some more than one hundred years old, have been removed from public access ostensibly in the name of security. However the National Archives admit that many records were removed with little or no review. According to Steve Tilley who was in charge of the project "we just felt we couldn't take the time and didn't always have the expertise".
Good to see that they believe in open government.
