Undoubtedly goaded on by the Vatican the Polish government, never exactly an enlightened zone, has decided to introduce legislation to ban "promotion of homosexuality" in all schools, presumably under penalty of death. In addition any teacher who admits to being gay will be sacked. Last month on a trip to Ireland Lech Kaczynski, the Polish President and twin brother of the Prime Minister, said that "[if] that kind of approach to sexual life were to be promoted on a grand scale, the human race would disappear."
