Showing that he is indeed in touch with the modern world Pope Benedict XVI (why do they number Popes like Super Bowls?) has stated that divorced Catholics who remarry without obtaining an annulment from the Holy See must live "as brother and sister" or God herself will not be happy. Mr. Benedict, sir, would that be live "as brother and sister" in the Appalachian sense?
