Surprisingly some evangelical Christians are now saying that he would torture no one. (Wait until the Decider (TM) hears about this!) Saying that Christians have to help America "regain [its] moral clarity" and that the U.S. has crossed the "boundaries of what is legally and morally permissible" the National Association of Evangelicals has endorsed an anti-torture statement. I await Jerry Falwell's definitive position statement on the matter. I am certain he will issue one just as soon as he has a chance to have a chat with God on the matter.
