Captive audience

British Telecom charges inmates in British prisons up to five times the normal pay phone rate to make calls. The Prison Service skims off 10% of that as a "commission". Now one long term prisoner has gone to court in an attempt to get equitable treatment.

I say let the market decide. If they don't like the charges they should just take their trade elsewhere!
