US Attorney General and Bush succubus Antonio Gonzales still has his job. This is getting just a bit boring. Unhappily for Gone-zo Congressional Democrats won't bring forward his sworn testimony to what, is now, convenient for him. And one of his aides is still refusing to testify under oath because she's afraid that she might not be able to control herself and lie. She says that she won't appear but that isn't good enough. She still has to appear and then, after actually hearing a question, take the fifth.
Things have gone all quiet for the other contestant in our who-gets-sacked-first competition, England football manager Steve "I've never really coached a winning team and it doesn't look like I'm going to start now" McClaren. I'm sure that the knives haven't been put away just yet though.
